Data to check when all seems lostPrintable

Here are some of the problems Users have encountered and their causes.

Player Not Visible in Pulldown

User does not have the Role=Player. Player is on the Roster of another Team. Player is too old. Player is the wrong gender.Player is too young.

Coach/Manager Not Visible in Pulldown or Not appearing in JavaNames box

User does not have that Role. TeamStaff, Registrar or Webmaster roles can give other Users the Role of Manager or Coach. i.e. TeamStaff can give a Parent the Role of Coach.

Trying to add a User and system says they already exist, but can't see them in the pull down.

The User is in the system in a different Role. Typical case is a User is in the system as a Parent and is being added as a Manager. (contact Club Registrar or webmaster to resolve).

Parents do not appear on Player 1601 Form

Parents are not associated with the Player.

Duplicate Team Registrations

Contact your Club Registrar or a Club Officer to delete extras.

Difficulty logging on

There are three boxes in the User Profile. First name in the first box. Middle name in the second box. Last name in the third box. The Site name is the concatenation of the data in these three boxes. Spaces are ignored. The name entered to logon must match exactly what is in the database for these three boxes. (However it is NOT case sensitive.)
EXAMPLE Van-Huesan is different from Van Huesan.

Passwords are case sensitive.
Password is different from passWord which is different from PASSWORD which is different from passworD

Some Users use an autofill feature on their personal computer that provides the Password. Some consider the use of autofill for Passwords to be a poor security practice and the Password Reset function at www.redwoodsoccer.org may not work when the Password autofill has been used. If this occurs, the Password must be reset. TeamStaff, Club Registrars and the Webmaster can reset Passwords.
